Carlos Tovar-Rivera is a Finance student at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, where he is set to graduate in December 2026. Upon graduation, he will join e3 Wealth full-time, a natural next step following his internship with the firm, where he has supported the team with client-facing tasks, financial documentation, and day-to-day wealth management operations.
Carlos brings a strong academic foundation in finance alongside real-world experience working alongside seasoned advisors and investment professionals. He approaches every task with care and attention to detail, whether helping clients navigate account transfers or assisting with financial planning materials.
Rooted in his Catholic faith, Carlos has a deep love for education and community service. He has had the privilege of collaborating with First Lady Cecilia Abbott on fundraising efforts that raised $300,000 in need-based assistance for the Cathedral School of St. Mary’s and $200,000 toward endowment funding for St. Michael’s, a cause close to his heart that reflects his belief in the power of faith-based education to transform lives. Outside of his studies and internship, Carlos is an active leader on campus as co-president of the St. Edward’s Jiu-Jitsu Club, a role that reflects the same discipline and commitment he brings to his professional work. Carlos is passionate about building lasting relationships and is dedicated to growing into a well-rounded financial professional who puts clients first.
