After earning a bachelor’s degree in business management from Southwest Texas State University, Terry began his career in Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s intensive management training program. The experience provided a strong foundation in leadership and operational discipline, while ultimately reinforcing his desire to build an independent practice rooted in long-term relationships and meaningful impact.
In 2003, Terry entered the financial services industry as an independent strategist, allowing him to focus on thoughtful planning, disciplined decision-making, and aligning financial strategy with personal values and long-term vision. He views his role as both strategic and relational, guiding clients through pivotal life and business decisions with discretion, care, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Terry holds multiple industry licenses and is a former co-host of the Advance and Protect radio show. A native of Austin, Terry resides in Driftwood, Texas, with his beautiful and amazing wife—and best friend—Ashley, and their two amazing children, Hudson and Drew. Family is at the center of everything Terry does and serves as the foundation for both his personal values and professional philosophy. Outside of his practice, he enjoys time with his family, staying active in his community, and following sports.
